The Road to the Bowls

Okay, BRFLers. This is where you're heading:

BroFro: BYU v Memphis U. Miami Beach Bowl  Miami, Fla, your ol' stompin' ground. 12/22 @ 2 PM. ESPN.

ClemSuckeeFieDolla: Arizona State v Duke. Meh. Hyundai Sun Bowl. El Paso, TX. 12/27 @ 2. CBS.

'Braska v #24 USC. Huskers without lunatic HeadMan. No chance against the surging Troymen. Nat'l University Holiday Bowl. San Diego, CA 12/27 @ 8. ESPN

SkHank: Notre Dame v #23 LSU Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl. Nashville, TN. 12/30 @ 3. ESPN. I see the Tigers blowing the doors off the Domers. Should see a little boost in the polls.

#13 Georgia v Louisville. 'BoSuke v BroSuke. Belk Bowl. Charolotte, NC. 12/30 @ 6:30 ESPN. There will be shit talk going into this one.

Q: Maryland v Stanford. The Cardinal slaps the Terps around in the Foster Farms Bowl. Is this a new bowl? What is "Foster Farms"? Farms from bad homes that end up somewhere else? Sanata Clara, Ca 12/30 @ 10. ESPN.

#19 Auburn v #18 Wisconsin. Wisky coach takes a powder (Oregon State?!), Melvin Gordon declares for the draft. Teeba suicide watch. Outback Bowl. Got to like the Plainsmen in this one. Tampa, Fla. 1/1. @ 12 noon, ESPN2

#8 Meechy State v #5 Baylor. Snottie head to head with SeaBiscuits. Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. Why suddenly is it a "Classic"? Arlington, TX. 1/1 @ 12:30. ESPN.

CCS: Iowa v Tennessee. Tennessee has like 11 freshman starting on both sides of the ball. I'll take Tennessee in this one. Taxslayer Bowl. Jacksonville, Fla. 1/2 @ 3:20. ESPN. Tickets still available.

Randude: #11 Kansas State v #14 UCLA. UCLA kind of went off the rails there down the stretch. Can they get their act together and prevent you from bagging yet another BRFL Coveted Commissioner's Cup? Valero Alamo Bowl. San Antonio, TX 1/2 @ 6:45. ESPN.

Each of these bowls earns 2 points for the win. This year the College Playoff System replaced the old BCS bowls, of which there were 4. Now there are only three games that would have paid more than two BRFL points: the first two games in the playoff and the championship. None of us got there.

Jimbosuke,
Commissioner for Life.
