GG Bowls: Chapter 6 and 7 Results.

Chapter 6 Results:

Texas A&M over WVU. God damn it.
Clemson blows out Oklahoma. Fuck you, Bob Stoops.
Arkansas over Texas, surprising no one. Except Q.

One Sweeper: SockPuppet; Grabs 5 and moves up to second place.

New Numbers:

SeaScum: 80, Snottie: 80
DPo: 79, SockPuppet: 79
QLove: 70, McLuv:70
BroFro: 69 (I always suspected this, Paul)
BoSuke: 67
CCS: 66
ClemboSlut: 55
RandCock: 52
Teeba: Still 10. Shocking.

Moving on.

GG Bowls. Ownership round.

Crazy Les Miles lets us all down ('cept Randy). Especially SkHank; LSU loses to ND on late FG.

Georgia drubs Louisville, 37-14. A most satisfying game. Blood on blood, as Snottie says.

Of note the BullDongs have now made McLovin' suffer two years in a row. They won't stop kicking the man. Geo loses their #1 QB near the end of the 1st half but a heapin' helpin' of Nick Chubb, Sony Michel and the White Guy pounds the birds into goo. Nice.

Stanford 45, Maryland 21. Kind of a mismatch. Congrats to Q$exy.

One guy swept: RanDingle. 10 point bonanza.

New numbers:

SeaGra: 86, Spottie: 86
DPoon: 85, Sockn'Balls: 85
BroFro with a 6 pull: 75
BoSuke(6): 73
CCS(6): 72, McLickin'(6): 72
QWoman: 70. Mysterious no entry hurts. Did I miss a text?
Randude: 62
ClemboSlice: 59
Teeblations: 10

On to New Year's Eve. No owners in this one. 1 for each game, 5 for the sweep.

GG Bowls: Chapter 6. December 29.

Okay, now who does this look like? Before he starts talking, and minus the hateful Alabama gear, just tell me who this looks like. You can put your vote in with your picks.

Also, good luck listening to this asshole. He's another in a long list of reasons why you should always hate the Tide, under any circumstances. Unconditionally hate the Tide.

BTW, this douchebag made one of these selfie videos for the Oklahoma v Bama Sugar Bowl last year. How'd that work out, RedNeck? (Actually, he makes these all the time. It's his "job" I guess. This and blowing other dudes at truck stops).

Texas A&M v West Virgina U
Memphis, TN

Oklahoma U v Clemson(#17)
Orlando, FL
5:30 PM

Arkansas Razorbacks v Texas Longhorns

GG Bowls, Chapter 5: Saturday Night

Big weekend.

Here's the deal:

As with the BYU game, games that are "owned" by a BRFLer pay double.
Hence, the Duke game and the USC game are worth 2 points each.

There are 5 games on this card. Sweep them, you pick up 12.
Any other combo, 1 for each win other than a USC or Duke win, which are worth 2.
So, you could not sweep and still pick up 6.

Games:

Cincy v Va. Tech
Annapolis, MD
1 PM

Arizona St. v Duke
El Paso, TX
2 PM

Miami U v So. Carolina
Shreveport, LA
3:30

Heismaniac: The Moment.

http://www.al.com/alabamafootball/index.ssf/2014/12/heisman_trophy_2014_final_voti.html

Above is a link to a breakdown of the Heisman voting for 2014.

Most significantly, after all 929 ballots were counted, the three finalists recieved the following vote totals:

M Mariota: 788 first place votes, 74 people voted him second place, 22 third place votes. Yes, this does not add up to 929. Meaning some people actually did not put him on their ballot at all. Still, 788 first place votes translates to some ungodly number of Heisman points in the Heisman scoring system. He won big.

Amari Cooper: 49 first place votes, 280 second, 316 third.

Melvin Gordon: 37 first, 432 second, 275 third. Actually more points than Cooper.

Most every BRFLer had Mariota #1 on their ballots, receiving the most first place votes. No one came as close as Paul, aka BroP. He had him down for 650.7 first placers. Only a few had Melvin Gordon on their ballots, Q, Sock, Jimbosuke. In the beginning Heismaniac cared about how many finalists a BRFLer had on his or her ballot. But then, after I made some high profile mistakes and took a tremendous amount of shit about them, we scrapped that. I think we should go back to it but that will have to wait for a vote at this year's payout.

So, congratulations, Paul. Chip, where did you get your numbers from? They don't agree with what I got. I did not watch the ceremony (too boring.) Paul, the bad news is that you only bagged about 80 bucks this year as we did not have full participation in Heismaniac. Also, Ladies and Gents, I neglected to collect any money in advance for side bets like Heismaniac and GG. Heismaniac is ten bucks, but only if you sent in a ballot, GG is the richer game. $20.

Okay, now I am going to sit back and wait for the objections and disagreements.

The Road to the Bowls

Okay, BRFLers. This is where you're heading:

BroFro: BYU v Memphis U. Miami Beach Bowl  Miami, Fla, your ol' stompin' ground. 12/22 @ 2 PM. ESPN.

ClemSuckeeFieDolla: Arizona State v Duke. Meh. Hyundai Sun Bowl. El Paso, TX. 12/27 @ 2. CBS.

'Braska v #24 USC. Huskers without lunatic HeadMan. No chance against the surging Troymen. Nat'l University Holiday Bowl. San Diego, CA 12/27 @ 8. ESPN

SkHank: Notre Dame v #23 LSU Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl. Nashville, TN. 12/30 @ 3. ESPN. I see the Tigers blowing the doors off the Domers. Should see a little boost in the polls.

#13 Georgia v Louisville. 'BoSuke v BroSuke. Belk Bowl. Charolotte, NC. 12/30 @ 6:30 ESPN. There will be shit talk going into this one.

Q: Maryland v Stanford. The Cardinal slaps the Terps around in the Foster Farms Bowl. Is this a new bowl? What is "Foster Farms"? Farms from bad homes that end up somewhere else? Sanata Clara, Ca 12/30 @ 10. ESPN.

#19 Auburn v #18 Wisconsin. Wisky coach takes a powder (Oregon State?!), Melvin Gordon declares for the draft. Teeba suicide watch. Outback Bowl. Got to like the Plainsmen in this one. Tampa, Fla. 1/1. @ 12 noon, ESPN2

#8 Meechy State v #5 Baylor. Snottie head to head with SeaBiscuits. Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. Why suddenly is it a "Classic"? Arlington, TX. 1/1 @ 12:30. ESPN.

CCS: Iowa v Tennessee. Tennessee has like 11 freshman starting on both sides of the ball. I'll take Tennessee in this one. Taxslayer Bowl. Jacksonville, Fla. 1/2 @ 3:20. ESPN. Tickets still available.

Randude: #11 Kansas State v #14 UCLA. UCLA kind of went off the rails there down the stretch. Can they get their act together and prevent you from bagging yet another BRFL Coveted Commissioner's Cup? Valero Alamo Bowl. San Antonio, TX 1/2 @ 6:45. ESPN.

Each of these bowls earns 2 points for the win. This year the College Playoff System replaced the old BCS bowls, of which there were 4. Now there are only three games that would have paid more than two BRFL points: the first two games in the playoff and the championship. None of us got there.

Conference Championship Weekend.

Randy still on top. Lost to Baylor. Drops 2 in the AP. Stiffed by the CFP. 27.

Snottie. Keeps choppin' wood. 1 for the no drop. 21. Ergo-Man and Liberace breakup may have to wait.

SeaBiscuit. Baylor downs KState. 1 for the win, 1 for the no drop. Major bend-over by "the committee". 20.

GG Week 15 Results.

Good evening, Friends.

What a gratifying GG. My oh my. Such fun.

Snottie, the new leader, with the sweep. Rings up a nice 25 on the weekend. Nice pull, Homeslice. Of course it helped that you had faith in TOSU. A 4 point dog to Wisconsin.
You have 64, Friendo.

Sock Puppet. You took  home 8. Missed the sweep because, well, I think we know why you missed the sweep. Don't we? Looking at YOU, "Billy".
63 is your total.

SeaSack. Again, 8 is a respectable showing. You now have 60. Wisky disappointed you perhaps?

DPullDong. 59. 8 point weekend. Picked every game but the Wisconsin game. Huh. So wierd,

Q. 8 pointer. 56. So confident on the phone as you boldly picked the Badgers. How'd that work out for you?

CCS. 6 points. You have 54. You are an unclean blaspheming Badger picking sinner.
Jimbosuke, fix him, ye, a sandwich of bacon, lettuce and tomato, takes home 9. Go Bucks.
Your Commissioner has 54.

BroFro. 8. 53. How the mighty have fallen. If only you hadn't been duped by all that "Wisconsin O-line is so dominant" bullshit. Melvin Gordon selling Paul Bunyan's axe to buy some oxys.
McLuvin'. 9 for you, My Brother. Why the fuck did you pick GTech? You led  me astray. I will soon pound your face with a hammer. Keep that Buckeye love coming though, My Man. You have 53.

Randoggie. You did well in GG this weekend. 11. Feels good to get 5 for an upset don't it, Bro'?
You popped up to 42 and you are knocking on some doors.
ClemboSlice. Take your douching and begone, AssSmell Heretic. You bagged 6 and were lucky to get that. Your pick in the Wisconsin game was shameful to say the least. You have 42. I feel let down by you.

Timmy! Naught. 10. Words fail me.

On to the playoffs, Brethren.

Jimbosuke

Oregon 51 - 'Zona 15
'Bama 42 - Mizzou 13

BRFL Week 14 Results, Randude Pulls Away

Week 14 Results.

KState 51, Kansas 13. 4 point weekend pumps Randude up to 29.

McLovin'. Yes, that McLovin'. This fucker had no more than a snowball's chance a few months ago and here he is, logging in at #2, with a resurgent Louisville Cardinals squad.
Louisville 44, Kentucky 40 in a gloriously fight-marred contest. AP love gives him 5 total. 20.

McLovin' has a butt-buddy in the #2 position: Snottie.
Sparty 34, Penn St. 10. 1 for the win, 3 for the move up, 1 for the no drop. 20.

Next up, SeaGra. Baylor 48, TTech 46. Baylor signal caller out with a concussion in this one. 1 for the win, 1 for the no drop, naught for not moving up: 18. Say hello to Mr. Liberace, SeanniePants.

Georgia Tech 30, Georgia 24 in OT. Jimbosuke, perfume his manly beard with roses and buttermilk, takes a nasty tumble. AP hating on His Majesty. Minus 7 weekend. 16.

Tbone. What do we really know about him? Precious little. Wisconsin 34, Minnesota 24. The Badgers walk away with Paul Bunyan's axe. 5 point weekend. 14 for the Teeser.

BYU 42, Cal 35. BroFro and his kryptonite testes continue to crawl up from the grave. How can this be happening? Why am I so disappointed that he's not taking a serious bath? 11 points for this guy.

The Bearded Clem. Duke 41,Wake Forest 21. 1 for the win. For ClemboSlice, this is a successful season. Logs in at 9. He'll go to a bowl. He's going to be okay. Probably undergo a profound and awkward personality change after finishing in the black two years in a row. We'll just have to deal with it.

Nebraska 37, Iowa 34. Corndogs over CornPone. Farewell, Bo Pellini. Naught into naught equals naught on the weekend. CCS at 7.

TOSU 42, Meechy 28. It was a lot closer than that. DPo goes naught for the weekend. Still has 5. Good news, bad news: You lost to TOSU. But you are now free of Dave Brandon and Brady Hoke. Things can only get better.

DIDDLE! DIDDLE! DIDDLE! LSU 23, Texas A&M 17. WHank rolls and heads to the north of negative territory. 1 for the win. 2 for the landing @ 23. 5 for the Diddle. 8 point weekend leaves him at +4.

Negative Territory:

USC 49, Notre Dame 14. Here is some AP bullshit at it's finest. The AP has a perpetual boner for the Domers. We all know this. USC is the AP yo-yo team of the century. True. Yet, when the Troymen whup they ass o' Notre Dame they get no diddle? 1 for the win. SockPuppet at minus 3.

Stanford 31, (#8) UCLA 10. Now, what the fuck, right? Stanford is winning every week. They score a huge upset over a top ten team. Yet...NO AP LOVE. Doesn't make sense. 1 for the win. Q-babe lives at minus 6.
