Meechy State lost to Nebraska last year. Had it not been for a freak mishandled punt they would have put Meechy State away. That would have made Meechy State a two loss team. If TOSU then beat Meechy, even if TOSU lost to Meechy State the week before, TOSU goes to the conference championship and steam-rolls Iowa. And maybe goes to the College Football Playoff with the most talent we'll probably have in 10 years. But, no, Meechy couldn't get that punt off. Damn you, Meechy. Damn you to hell.
That's an awful lot of rationalization from a team whose coaches couldn't figure out how to hand the ball off to their future first round running back against MSU.
